Kuribayashi Issetsu (1924 - 2011)

Kuribayashi began his Kokeshi career in 1955. He is considered to be one of the founding fathers of the Sosaku Kokeshi movement. A multi award winner. His works were displayed in the Government Pavilion of the Japan International Exposition held in Osaka in 1970 and at the Nuremberg Toy Museum in Germany.
